On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

H. E. Mariam Chabi Talata, the Vice President of Benin arrived in Tanzania to attend the Summit of Heads of State of African Countries regarding Human Capital





On 25th July 2023, Hon. Jumaa Hamidu Aweso, Minister of water received H. E. Mariam Chabi Talata, the Vice President of Benin at Julius Nyerere International Airport. H. E. Mariam Chabi is among other leaders who arrived in Tanzania to attend the Summit of Heads of State of African Countries regarding Human Capital, held on 25-26 July 2023 at Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
