On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Her Excellency, President Katalin Novák of Hungary's Visit to Tanzania

H. E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and visiting President of Hungary, H. E. Katalin Novák, 

On 18th July, 2023, H. E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, received H. E. Katalin Novák, President of Hungary, in Dar es Salaam. Their discussion focused on bilateral relations, including areas of cooperation, opportunities for higher education, investment, trade and tourism. The High Commission commends H. E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for her exemplary efforts in strengthening Tanzania’s foreign relations.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
