The African Development Bank (AfDB) throws its weight behind Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Projects of the Tanzanian Government

                                                                                

The Africa Development Bank (AfDB) indicates interest to support the efforts of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in the execution of uncompleted parts of the mega strategic Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project in Tanzania. The AfDB expressed this through its Group Vice President for Agriculture, Human and Social Development, Dr. Beth Dunford during her meeting with Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, Honourable Minister of Finance and Planning of the United Republic of Tanzania, in Dodoma, on 27th June, 2023.
