The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

On 09/08/2023 the High Commissioner had a meeting with Hon. Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. The two Ambassadors discussed a pertinent and important matter.
