Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Cultural Diplomacy: Strengthening Bilateral Ties Between Tanzania and Nigeria.

 

From 8th to 11th September, 2023, as part of the  drive the High Commissioner H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana joined other dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps and private sector leaders to celebrate in a 3day event, the 89th Anniversary of Sir. Chief (Dr.) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.

The event began with the holy mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, an interdenominational service and a reception for special guests. Among other dignitaries are the High Commissioners of South Africa, Namibia and the Ambassador of Zimbabwe.  The birthday of the Esama of Benin Kingdom attracts well-wishers from all continents.  God bless the ESAMA OF BENIN KINGDOM AND THE HOUSE OF IGBINEDION.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
