The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

His Excellency Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal in Tanzania for the African Food Systems Forum

                                       

On 6th September 2023, His Excellency Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and participated in the African Food Systems Forum on 7th September. H. E. Macky Sall was welcomed at JNIA by Hon. Angellah Kairuki (MP), Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism.
