Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda to jointly host CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027

The High Commission congratulates the leadership of the governments of the three East African Community sister countries, namely Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, for winning the right to host the African Cup of Nations, AFCON 2027 football tournament. The “Pamoja Bid” has paid dividends, demonstrating that “unity is our strength.”

We congratulate H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, for directing the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports to immediately take measures to construct two state-of-the-art stadiums in Arusha and Dodoma. We welcome the world to Tanzania: the land of Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar.
