Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana receives in audience the Dean of the SADC Ambassadors’ Group in Abuja


Monday, 16 October 2023, at the Chancery, Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, received H.E. Amb. Humphrey Geiseb, High Commissioner of the Republic of Namibia to Nigeria and Dean of SADC Ambassadors’ Group in Abuja. Amb. Geiseb’s courtesy visit was intended to bid farewell to Amb. Bana who has completed his tenure as High Commissioner, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania to Nigeria with concurrent accreditation to other 14 West African Countries. Dr. Bana will leave Abuja in the first week of November 2023.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
