Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana bade Farewell to Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson at Kotoka International Airport Accra, Ghana


On 6th October 2023, it was a pleasure and honour for Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana and Brig. Gen. JK Kadawi, Defense Attaché, to bid farewell to Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson (MP), Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania at Kotoka International Airport Accra, Ghana. The Speaker and her delegation, including five Members of Parliament and the Clerk of the National Assembly were in Accra from 03-06 October, 2023 to participate in the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. Additionally, the Speaker had the opportunity to visit Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
