On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

H. E. Dr. Benson Bana receives Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson at Accra, Ghana



On 03/10/2023 at Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana, the Amb. Benson Alfred Bana accompanied by Brig. Gen. JK Kadawi, Defence Attaché, received Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson, Speaker of the Parliament of Tanzania. The Speaker and five Members of Parliament and Hon Nanelwa Joyce Mwihabi, Clerk of the National Assembly are in Accra to participate in the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) from 30th September to 6 October 2023.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
