The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

The Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana was at Kotoka International Airport to receive Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson, Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania who is leading the Tanzania delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC).
