The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

On 03 October 2024, Amb. Benson Alfred Bana joined The Rt. Hon. Tulia Ackson, Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania and Her Delegation to pay a courtesy call on the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford.
