Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Tanzania High Commission receives Under-20 Tanzania Women Football Team, Tanzanite Queens



Tanzanite Queens Team and Tanzania High Commission Management Staff.

On 16th November 2023, Tanzania High Commission was honoured to receive Under-20 Tanzania Women Football Team, Tanzanite Queens. Tanzanite Queens were in Abuja-Nigeria for a return leg match against their Nigerian counterparts, the Falconets. The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Qualifier match scheduled for 19th November 2023.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i, Mrs Judica Nagunwa is addressing the Tanzanite Queens and assuring them of the Government of Tanzania's  support through the High Commission.
