Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

The East African Community Ambassadors' Group in Abuja, bid farewell to H. E. Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana


As a gesture of goodwill, friendship and cooperation, on November 1st. 2023, the East African Community Ambassadors Group in Abuja, teamed up to bid farewell to their outgoing colleague, H. E. Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, who is returning to Tanzania after a successful tour of duty in Nigeria. At the same time the group seized the opportunity to welcome to the group H. E. Christophe Bazivamo, the new High Commissioner of Rwanda to Nigeria.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
