Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Tanzanian Delegations Led by Amb. Said Shaib Mussa and Mr. Khamis Shibu Arrived Nigeria On 7th December, 2023




On 7th December 2023, the High Commission was privileged to receive Amb. Said Shaib Mussa - Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania and Mr. Khamis Shibu - Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Blue Economy of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar. The two leaders with their delegations were in Abuja for meetings, which focused on strengthening the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
