The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

We welcome the Tanzania Women National Football Team (Twiga Stars) to Lomé Togo




On 3rd December 2023, our Mission was honoured to receive Tanzania Women National Football Team (Twiga Stars) in Lomé Togo. Twiga Stars are in Lomé for a return leg fixture against their Togolese Counterparts in the Women's Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier match. The match is scheduled for 5th December, 2023 at Stade de Kégué de Lomé in Lomé, Togo.
