Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and like-minded institutions in Tanzania to establish cooperation


On Thursday, 14th April 2024, the Tanzania High Commission met with Sir Odeiga Jideonwo, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines of Enugu. Sir Jideonwo is also the Managing Director of Oaklands Hotels. The discussions, among other things, focussed on the establishment of the co cooperation between Enugu Chamber of Commerce and like-minded institutions in Tanzania.
