Tanzania High Commission met with the Managing Director and Chairman of First Vadis Pharmaceutical Limited


On Thursday, 11th April, 2024, The Tanzania High Commission met with the Managing Director and Chairman of First Vadis Pharmaceutical Limited (formerly Vadis Pharmaceutical Limited) an indigenous company based in Enugu, Nigeria. The company produces a range of generic and over the counter( OCT) drugs and has been in operation since 1991. It has one of the biggest ultra modern facility in Eastern Nigeria. The company is looking to explore opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector in Tanzania.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
