On 8th June 2024, the Mission in collaboration with Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) held a "Strategic Investment Forum" and presented to selected members of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCIA)  vast investment opportunities available in the United Republic of Tanzania. The business mission  to Tanzania by  Members of  LCCIA will be organized as one of the outcomes of the forum.

FIT Group is planning to invest in Tanzania in the near future.

The Tanzania Strategic Investment Forum, Enugu.

  On 6th June, 2024, the High Commission  and Tanzania Investment Centre, in pursuance of the Tanzania Economic Diplomacy Strategy held a "Strategic Investment Forum" and presented to selected members of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) the myriad of opportunities available in the United Republic of Tanzania.  The vast opportunities in manufacturing, real estate, tourism, pharmaceutical, agriculture among others, were discussed. A follow-on business mission will be the offshoot of the event.

On 5th June, 2024 Mrs. Judica Nagunwa, Chargé  d'affaire a.i was received in audience by Hon. Dr. Tunji Alusa, Minister of State, Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The discussions, among other things, focused on the upcoming election for the WHO Regional Director for Africa scheduled for August 2024. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has presented the candidature of Dr. Faustine E. Ndugulile  (MP) for the position of WHO Regional Director for Africa.
