On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

The Tanzania Strategic Investment Forum, Enugu.

 


On 6th June, 2024, the High Commission  and Tanzania Investment Centre, in pursuance of the Tanzania Economic Diplomacy Strategy held a "Strategic Investment Forum" and presented to selected members of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) the myriad of opportunities available in the United Republic of Tanzania. 

The vast opportunities in manufacturing, real estate, tourism, pharmaceutical, agriculture among others, were discussed. A follow-on business mission will be the offshoot of the event.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
