Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Graduation Ceremony of the participants of Course 46 at Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji-Kaduna, Nigeria


On 27 July 2024, Brig. Gen. JK Kadawi, Defence Attaché, attended the Graduation Ceremony of the participants of Course 46 at Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji-Kaduna Nigeria. The graduating officers, included Maj. AY Mbuli and Maj. JM Marwa, senior officers from Tanzania Peoples Defence Forces (JWTZ). The colorful event was graced by H. E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces represented by Gen. Christopher Musa -Chief of Defence Staff Nigeria.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
