On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele at the EAC Heads of Mission Group Meeting




On 26th February 2025, H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, participated in a regular meeting of the East African Community (EAC) Ambassador's Group. The Group brings together EAC Head of Missions accredited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria with residence in Abuja to discuss matters of mutual interest to EAC Member States.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
