H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, the High Commissioner Designate of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has arrived in Tanzania House Abuja to resume his duties. Arriving at the Chancery the High Commissioner was welcomed by Diplomatic and Support Staff in a brief but warm ceremony. In his first remarks to Mission Staff, the High Commissioner committed himself to work closely with all stakeholders including Tanzania Diaspora in strengthening ties between Tanzania and Nigeria and all other countries of accreditation.

Her Excellency Mariam Chabi Talata Zimé Yérima, Vice President of the Republic of Benin is amongst Heads of State and Government who has attended the African Heads of State Energy Summit held on 27th-28th January, Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

His Excellency Joseph Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, is among the 19 African Presidents who have arrived in Dar es Salaam to participate in the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit which started on 27th January 2025.

His Excellency Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embaló, President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau has arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit, #Mission 300

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana has arrived in Dar es Salaam to attend the African Heads of State Energy Summit. At Julius Nyerere International Airport, H.E. Mahama was received by Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso and other senior government officials.

His Excellency Muhammad Jallow, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia has arrived in Dar es Salaam-Tanzania to attend the African Heads of State Energy Summit, “Mission 300,” scheduled to hold on 27th-28th January 2025. H. E. Jallow was welcomed by Tanzania’s Minister for Water, Hon. Jumaa Aweso.

His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has arrived in Dar es salaam-Tanzania, to attend African Heads of State Summit on Energy to hold on 27th-28th January 2025. At the airport, H.E. Tinubu was received by Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

H.E. Robert Beugré Mambé, Prime Minister of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, has arrived in Dar es Salaam-Tanzania, to attend the African Heads of State Energy Summit, to hold on 27th - 28th, January 2025.

His. Excellency JULIUS MAADA BIO, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, has arrived in Dar es salaam to attend African Heads of State on Energy Summit scheduled from  27th-28th January 2025. At the airport, H.E. President BIO was received by Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

On 26th February 2025, H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, participated in a regular meeting of the East African Community (EAC) Ambassador's Group. The Group brings together EAC Head of Missions accredited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria with residence in Abuja to discuss matters of mutual interest to EAC Member States.
